I collaborated with Claire in 2010, when the Claire Clark ‘Pop up Pâtisserie and Afternoon Tea’ came to Harvey Nichols’s Fifth Floor Foodmarket and Restaurant.

Despite the high regard held for Claire within the industry, I was gobsmacked with how wonderful her offer was. She totally ”got” the Harvey Nichols customer immediately. Her tea was playful, inspirational and delicious. I don’t think I have ever seen our customers take so many pictures of their food and return for more. I still crave those Jaffa-Cake macaroons!

As a result of our collaboration, Claire has fans at Harvey Nichols for life. I have the utmost respect for her as a true professional and a dear friend. I hope someday to have the privilege of working with her again.’
